Data Controller
The data controller for this website is The Trulli Collection, based in Martina Franca, Valle d’Itria, Puglia, Italy. You can contact us at info@thetrullicollection.com or by phone at +39 335 775 0301.
What Data We Collect
This website does not offer user registration, online payments or a comments section. The only personal data we collect is what you choose to submit through the contact form on the Contact page, namely: first name, last name, email address, phone number, requested check-in and check-out dates, number of guests, and any message you write to us.
Purpose and Legal Basis for Processing
We use the data you submit exclusively to respond to your availability request, answer your questions and, where relevant, take the steps you request prior to entering into a booking. The legal basis for this processing is your consent, given by ticking the consent checkbox before submitting the form, and/or the need to take pre-contractual steps at your request (Article 6(1)(a) and (b) GDPR).
How Long We Keep Your Data
Enquiries submitted through the contact form are kept only for as long as necessary to handle your request and, if a booking follows, for the duration of any related administrative or legal obligations. We periodically delete enquiry data that is no longer needed, and in any event no later than 24 months after your last contact with us, unless a booking or legal requirement means it must be kept longer.
Who We Share Your Data With
We do not sell or share your data with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Form submissions are stored on our website’s hosting server (provided by Netsons, Italy) and delivered to our email inbox so we can reply to you; these providers act as data processors and only handle your data to keep the website and email running.
Cookies
This website does not use analytics, advertising or profiling cookies, and does not show a cookie banner because it does not need your consent for any non-essential cookie: only strictly necessary technical cookies required for the site to function correctly may be set, and these do not track you or collect personal data for marketing purposes.
Your Rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to request that we provide it to you in a portable format. You can exercise any of these rights, or withdraw your consent at any time, by writing to info@thetrullicollection.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority (Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali) if you believe your data has been processed unlawfully.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the personal data you share with us against unauthorised access, loss or misuse.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the website or to applicable law. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date at the top.
